So, several people seemed to be a little angry last week when Facebook changed its layout adding several new features such as a mini news feed which shows your friend's activities and a new top story section. These changes have altered the familiar design that users have been accustomed to, and some users have even left Facebook for Google+, another social networking site. Facebook has yet to make its biggest changes which will take place on September 30.

The new changes have revealed easier ways to scroll through friends pictures, videos, and posts as well as other unknown additional features. This change has been criticized as making Facebook "even more stalkerish" and "allowing people to be the ultimate creepers". This change could either be one of Facebook's biggest mistakes or biggest successes. Either way, it is a bold move, which isn't guaranteed to actually make any changes what so ever.

ReplyDeleteWow i did not know facebook was going to make another big change. Im kinda getting use to the chnge but it did bother me at first
ReplyDeleteThe change is interesting, but kinda annoying. I like the time line thing a little, but when i am trying to get to other stuff, its pretty difficult.
ReplyDeleteThis article seemed pretty informative but slightly scattered.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds kind of bad, since people with bad intentions might this to their advantage.
ReplyDeleteAt the F8 meeting Mark Zuckerberg said that the age of privacy is over. So i can see how people think this new version is "even more stalkerish" now.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I personally hate that FB is posting more and more info that the user didn't intend to have public. Not sure if they'll lose users, though, since so many of us are addicted to it...
