1. Real men sing!
No, not in the shower. Freddie Mercury was a great performer and didn't give a care if someone thought he sounded bad; he still sang his heart out. How do you think he and his band Queen could've made Bohemian Rhapsody if he didn't want people thinking they were weirdos? Guys who sing are one step closer to reaching Freddie Mercury's level of manliness.
2. Get a mustache!
The mustache has always been a notable symbol of a male and there is no exception to Mercury's mustache. Some argue that his mustache was a different class of mustache by itself, topping the great mustaches of Groucho Marx and Charlie Chaplin. Men with mustaches are often seen as more dominant and in power where a beard makes you look like some Lincoln wannabe (probably why Mercury never had one).
3. Keep a close circle of friends
Who would Mercury be if he didn't have his band? He couldn't have risen to fame without the help of Brian May on guitar (left), John Deacon on bass (middle), and Roger Taylor on drums (right). The four are always on sync with their voices in perfect harmony, making listening to their songs the equivalent of listening to a rainbow. Same applies to everyone else. You can never go wrong in trusting your friends, because you always know they have your back.
4. Don't be a dreamer, be a doer!
Freddie was never afraid of doing something new or out of the blue. He always expressed himself in some way, either through his flamboyant fashion or his singing. Mercury was widely admired for his ability to make sure he received what he wanted and not be some pushover who has to do the bidding of others. He also made sure he wasn't just another celebrity by making this image of a rock star and the original "express yourself" kind of guy.
5. Carry on a legacy of your own.
Live your life feeling successful. Forgive and forget, pick yourself up from the sad times, and quit feeling like a loser! Freddie's self-esteem was always at its peak, he always put 200% in his work. Even when diagnosed with AIDS, Mercury fought with an admirable passion. With his notorious arm hanging in the air, he always acknowledged himself as being the greatest and refused to be anything else.
Rest in Peace Freddie Mercury.
